Safe bits. Clear rules.

Terms for fan-funded bits

What Fund the Bit does

Fund the Bit hosts creator-approved challenge campaigns where fans can suggest ideas, pledge toward approved campaigns, and follow campaign status.

  • Fund the Bit is not a raffle, contest, gambling product, or dare-anyone marketplace.
  • Creators keep control over what they approve, reject, edit, and complete.
  • Campaign state, moderation actions, refunds, creator completion, and payout eligibility are tracked.

Fan responsibilities

Fans must keep suggestions safe, respectful, legal, and within creator boundaries.

  • Do not submit harmful, harassing, adult, illegal, hateful, gambling, or coercive prompts.
  • Do not pressure a creator to do anything outside their stated boundaries.
  • Use the report flow when a challenge, creator update, or user behavior looks unsafe.

Creator responsibility

Creators decide which ideas become campaigns and are responsible for completing the approved bit after funding.

  • Creators can approve, reject, or edit ideas before they become campaigns.
  • Creators should set boundaries before launch and complete only the promises they are comfortable owning.
  • Creators may upload completion proof as optional evidence, but fulfillment responsibility remains entirely with the creator.
  • Fund the Bit provides hosting, pledge, reporting, review, and support tools; it does not guarantee creator performance.

Platform actions

The platform can moderate, hide, cancel, refund, hold payout eligibility, suspend accounts, or escalate safety issues when needed.

  • Admin actions must be recorded in audit logs for sensitive changes.
  • Dangerous or policy-breaking campaigns can be removed before or after funding.
  • Payment, refund, dispute, and payout decisions require Stripe and legal review where applicable.

Final legal language still needs counsel review before public launch.
